Pasta Jewelry
Share this post:
Making jewelry is a great way to practice your child’s fine motor skills.
Supplies List:
uncooked pasta with holes/loops
string
Optional: child-safe paint or markers
Instructions:
Tie a knot at the end of the string.
Show your child how to put the end of the string through the hole in the pasta.
Encourage your child to string more pasta on making different patterns and lengths of jewelry.
Talk to your child about what you are doing together – describing the touch and look of the pasta.
Tada! Beautiful pasta jewelry you and your child can wear.
If your child wants to decorate the jewelry even more, she can paint or color the pasta with markers.
This activity helps your child develop fine motor skills, sensory skills, and early math skills.
